KRAV MAGA GENERAL INSTRUCTOR COURCE (GIC)

BECOME A KRAV MAGA INSTRUCTOR

Our Krav Maga General Instructor Course (GIC) is renowned as being the most comprehensive in Krav Maga education in the world today. The course operates world-wide and is delivered by our highly experienced Global Team of Instructors. Divided into three phases of applied learning over 180 hours (23 days), the GIC will develop your physical Krav Maga skills and combine it with the ability to teach others through a comprehensive coaching program.

Successful completion of the course is dependent on meeting specific criteria at the end of each phase, concluding with a final examination of both physical skills and teaching abilities at the end of the final phase where you will be awarded a Graduate Grade in Krav Maga and Instructors Certification under Krav Maga Global (KMG), authorized by KMG Chief Instructor, Eyal Yanilov.

 

PREREQUISITES FOR KMG INSTRUCTORS

Acceptance onto the GIC is through application to your local branch of Krav Maga Global and authorization from the local Director or Regional Representative.

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE COURSE GIC AND THE CONVERSION COURSE, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum age : 20.
• Two years of Krav Maga training with a recommendation from an current KMG Instructor OR
• Four years in another martial art, boxing or kickboxing, with good punching and kicking skills.
• Relevant experience in teaching others or a recognised teaching qualification
• Conversion Course: same as above, but you must have experience with an accepted Krav Maga organisation
• Conversion Course: Pass the entry test to prove your level

 

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Good physical condition and general fitness.
• A clean criminal record
• The ability to fund the course in full

 

AUTHORISATION

• Application to your local KMG Branch
• Personal interview with your local Director or Regional Representative
• Physical Skills Assessment (subject to experience)

Conversion Course

Instructor Updates (IU)

Once you have become an instructor with Krav Maga Global we require you to participate on several IU’s every year to ensure you receive your minimum amount of training and also to provide you with updated changes and developments in the Krav Maga Global system.
